Moulvibazar Correspondent: A human chain program has been organized by conscious citizens to protest the publication of false, fabricated and baseless news against Deputy Commissioner Md. Israel Hossain by Moulvibazar fascist’s friend.
On Saturday (October 11), in front of the Moulvibazar Press Club, Advocate Mostaq Ahmed Mom presided over the human chain, and welcomed the participants, including Advocate Abu Taher, Advocate Nurul Islam Sheful, Journalist Matin Baks, Maulana Ahmed Bilal, Advocate Baksi Jobayer, Advocate Md. Faisal Mia, Engineer Moazzem Hossain, Mehrajul Haque, President Moulvibazar Development Foundation, Rahul Amin, General Secretary Moulvibazar Development Foundation, Advocate Abdur Rouf, Md. Sahabuddin Bablu, District Convener Warriors of July, July Warriors Kazi Manjur, July Warriors Sale Ahmed Sumon. Members of the conscious civil society, student crowd, and July Warriors were also present.
The speakers protested and strongly condemned the publication of false, fabricated and baseless news against the Deputy Commissioner Md. Israil Hossain in the continuation of anti-journalism by the fascist’s friends in the Daily Inquilab newspaper on October 7. The news mentioned various irregularities including giving jobs to the Deputy Commissioner’s wife and nephew. But no information or evidence was presented regarding the job in any department or position. The news was published in a fabricated manner without mentioning any facts or information, which is tantamount to anti-journalism. As a result, they called on the journalist of the Daily Inquilab newspaper to apologize unconditionally for the news published. The speakers also said that where an appointment has to be made to meet the Deputy Commissioner, one has to wait for a long time. But with the Deputy Commissioner Md. Israil Hossain, even a helpless poor daily wage earner can directly enter his room and ask for problems and help. With his new thoughts and long-term plans, this district has gained a new dimension. The Deputy Commissioner, who has shown efficiency, good governance, good order, respect for religion, respect for people of all levels, including the poor and the needy, and not allowing injustice in the district, has become the apple of the eye of the evildoers in the society who roamed during the dictatorship. He is moving forward with many plans for the people of this district.
The conscious civil society has expressed strong anger over the publication of false fabricated news by some employees of the department and the evildoers who roamed during the dictatorship due to transparency, corruption-free service and work for public welfare.
